Bronze struck medal with obverse showing group of European settlers disembarking ship; inscription above: "1620-1920/LANDING OF THE/PILGRIMS AT PLYMOVTH"; in exergue: "21 DECEMBER 1620." Reverse depicts sailing vessel with inscription: "THE MAYFLOWER/IN WHOSE CABIN WAS SIGNED/THE COMPACT IN/CAPE COD HARBOR/21 NOV 1620." Medal is inset into black square cardboard box with burgundy red textile interior.
