Description:
A silver colored metal medallion embossed on one side with a very raised relief of a man with a short beard encircled by the words "In Memoriam U.S. Grant 1822-1885/ Soldier-President-Citizen/ Though To Earth No More-In Our Hearts Forever". On the reverse, Grant on horseback with a cannon and soldiers in the background encircled by "Fort Donaldson 1862- Vicksburg 1863- Richmond 1865/ President 1869-1877".
