Souvenir medallion made of terracotta; obverse with shield framed by laurel branches and inscription, "SOUVENIR D'AMERIQUE 1776*1876," in relief; reverse with triple lion insignia and inscription, "AMULETTE ODORIFERANTE DE PERSE," in relief; blue ribbon threaded through hole near edge.
