This tiny oval wooden box is wrapped in paper that is printed with the words "A Purely Vegetable Cathartic/ Ayers Pills/ Dose From 2 To 7", on the side a signature and "Practical & Analytical Chemist/ Lowell, Mass. U.S.A.", and on the bottom a complex drawing of a laboratory with scales and flasks. See also 2002.1.774.
