Description:
Colorless non-lead glass medicine bottle blown in a three-part mold, with narrow mouth, flanged lip, cylindrical neck, stepped shoulder, and triangular body; pasted to bottle, paper label printed in black and red with inscription beginning "HOGG'S PURE COD'S LIVER OIL"; on other side, impressed inscription "HOGG & CIE. PHARMACIENS ANGLAIS PARIS"; paper across top of cork covered in foil (probably copper); sealed, and filled with cod-liver oil.
