Description:
Brass microscope with two sets of tripod scroll supports, circular handle and mirrored glass, on circular base; in six-sided, pylon-shaped wooden case with a brass loop on top and a hinged door with an inset brass and steel lock; wide, felt-lined drawer in base of interior contains four ivory, mica and brass slides, two brass optical parts, three lenses, and a tiny ivory cannister for mica slides.
