Description:
Colorless pressed glass miniature dish with scalloped flange and Liberty Bell with ribbon inscribed "1776 . . . 1876" on base; flattened conical lid with Liberty Bell, inscriptions, and tab-like finial with vertical ribbing on either side (Centennial pattern).

This pattern was patented by James C. Gill for Gillinder & Sons, September 28, 1875 (see "American and European Pressed Glass in The Corning Museum of Glass, p. 288).
