Description:
Wood, steel, iron, and brass percussion musketoon; iron furniture; trumpet head iron ramrod; bayonet stud on underside of muzzle; stamped marks at center and tail of lockplate, barrel tang, and tang of buttplate; engraved number on right side of buttstock.

This musketoon was carried by the 7th Regiment's Engineer Company K from 1855 to 1861.
