Anne Muirson, daughter of Dr. George Muirson and Anna (Smith) Muirson, was the mother-in-law of the artist William Dunlap, who married her daughter Elizabeth. She was the second wife of Benjamin Woolsey, Jr. The miniature was a gift to the Society from her great-great-grandson.
