Charlotte Elizabeth Gardner was the daughter of Dr. Daniel Pereira Gardner and Sarah Ripley (Draper) Gardner. She married Charles Lennox Wright I on September 27, 1875. Her portrait was a gift to the Society from the artist, her son.
