One of a pair of portrait miniatures depicting Mrs. Frederick Augustus St. John (nee Eliza De Pau Fox) on red velvet presentation board.
Gallery Label:
Eliza De Pau Fox was the daughter of Samuel Mickle Fox, Jr., and Elizabeth Marie Antoinette (De Pau) Fox (1803-64). She married Frederick Arthur Saint John on March 28, 1857, and lived with her husband on the island of Jersey. This miniature portrait of her was a gift to the Society from her niece.
