Elizabeth ("Pansy") Maud Gallatin was the daughter of James Gallatin (1846-1890) and Elizabeth Hill (Dawson) Gallatin. She married John de Courcey Ireland, son of Mrs. and Mrs. John B. Ireland of Manhattan, at Calvary Church on February 6, 1895.
