Gallery Label:
Ann Hogg was the daughter of John and Jeanette (Smith) Hogg of Scotland. She was married to John Gillies in Scotland in 1810. This miniature, a gift to the Society from his grandson, was copied from an earlier miniature or photograph by Theodore Wust.
