Gallery Label:
Sarah Livingston was the daughter of Philip Livingston, a signer of the Declaration of Independence, and Christina (Ten Broeck) Livingston. She married John Henry Livingston, her second cousin, in 1775. Her portrait was a gift to the Society from her great-grandson.
