Gallery Label:
Edith Cooper was the daughter of Edward Cooper, mayor of New York and Cornelia (Redmond) Cooper, and a granddaughter of Peter Cooper. She married Lloyd Stephens Bryce (1851-1917) in May 1879. Mrs. Bryce was manager of the New York Exhibit at the World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago in 1893.
