Description:
Wood and steel musket; part octagon, part round barrel with small front and long-range rear folding sight; iron furniture; trumpet-head steel ramrod; stamped marks on barrel, and on center and tail of lockplate.

This musket may have been imported from Austria or Germany for use by Union or Confederate forces during the Civil War.
