Miniature cardboard village in a box with a foldout town map, nineteen complete houses, six extra roofs, one partial house, four houses from anothor set, nine tin stands and 34 paper figures, trees, fences and accessories; box cover lithographed with an image of a boy and girl playing with a village set on a large table while a mother holding an infant looks on; box inscribed, "THE NEW/ PRETTY VILLAGE/ COPYRIGHT/ 1897 BY/ McLOUGHLIN BROS./ New York."
