Bronze struck medal with obverse having central roundel with two allegorical female figures shaking hands against background of world globe flanked by attributes of travel and commerce, with scepter above, surrounded by ornate frame of cornucopias and laurel and oak leaves with symbols of American state on four shields; legend around border: "IN HONOR OF THE GUESTS WHO ATTENDED THE DEDICATORY CEREMONIES ON THE OPENING OF THE BUILDING OF THE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE." Reverse shows elevation of building at center with seal of the New York State Chamber of Commerce below with inscripion: "NEW YORK NOV.II.1902"; surrounding legend: "TO COMMEMORATE THE OPENING OF THE BUILDING OF THE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK."
