Description:
Wooden nightstick, straight baton with turned handle; the top of the baton is slightly rounded, the handle has three sections of ribbing and is flanged at both ends.

This nightstick belonged to James Ferris, Jr. (1795-1869), Alderman of the 6th Ward 1834-1835 and 1839-1840.
