Dark blue wool officer's tailcoat with 3 1/2" stand-up double collar; collar, lapels and cuffs are of yellow wool; lapels have ten 1 3/8" plain unmarked buttons down each side; gilt shoulder loops on each shoulder with bullion trim; close fitting sleeves; a pocket at each hip from the center rear to near the center front edge, each pocket has a flap with 4 blind buttonholes, with a row of 4 buttons beneath flap; 4 panels at the back of the bodice, with 2 buttons near the center at the waistline and a button on the bottom of each tail; coat and pockets lined with white linen.
