Description:
Dark blue wool militia Lieutenant Colonel's dress staff coat (double-breasted); closed stand-up collar (1 hook and eye) lined with dark blue velvet; 7 buttons down the front of each side, shoulder straps on each shoulder with dark-colored ground, with metal leaf on each end; sleeves have false closed cuffs with 3 buttons each; all buttons cast with shield-breasted eagle; coat is lined with dark green twill-weave silk, with a vertical slit breast pocket on each side, sleeves lined with white twill-weave cotton.
