Description: 
Dark blue wool officer's single-breasted dress coat with 2" open stand-up collar, with plain silver braid shoulder straps, 10 buttons down the front, open false-cuff sleeves with 3 buttons at each wrist; 4 panels at the back of the bodice, with 2 buttons near the center at the waistline, a button on each side of split skirt; all buttons brass with alloy coating, in the form of plain spheres; coat lined with dark green silk, vertical slit pocket at the left breast, breast thickly padded and quilted, breast pocket and sleeves lined with twill-weave cotton.
