Description: 
Dark blue short Naval Academy double-breasted dress coat, with 1 3/8" closed stand-up collar (1 hook and eye at the throat), trimmed on the outer edge with gilt lacing, with metal thread embroidered leaf insignia on each side, lined with dark blue velvet; 9 buttons down each side of the chest; closed false cuff sleeves with 3 buttons on each wrist, with red cord and gilt lacing band around each wrist; all buttons cast with eagle clutching an anchor in its talons, bodice buttons unmarked, cuff buttons with "Oehms" mark stamped; 4 panels at the back of the bodice; lined with black twill-weave silk, breast lightly padded and quilted, vertical slit pocket on the left breast, waistband lined with black leather, hook and eye at the waistline.
