Description:
Medium blue wool Marine officer's dress trousers with red stripe down the sides of both legs; 5 button fly has fabric tab at the top left which fastens fo a plastic button on the inside of the waistband, and there is a metal hook and eye at the top above the buttons; 7 belt loops around the waistband; watch pocket on right side beneath waistband, vertical slit pockets on each hip behind the stripes, rear horizontal slit pockets which button closed; fly, waistband and pockets lined with white cotton, 6 ivory buttons inside the waistband.

These Marine officer's dress trousers were worn by Major William Landauer, who served in World War II in the First Marine Air Wing. The Society also owns the other pieces to this uniform.
