Description:
Colorless lead glass oil lamp with blown font and pressed base; cylindrical font with wide vertical ribs alternating with half-ovals connecting to upper and lower rims; hexagonal base and conical stem with incurving sides; brass collar and cap with tubes.
Gallery Label:
The lamp top of INV.543b has two tapering wick tubes which project away from one another, indicating that this pair of lamps was meant to be used with burning fuel rather than oil.
