Description:
Colorless lead glass oil lamp with blown font and pressed base; spherical font on peg support joined by bobeche to candlestick-type base with downward tapering square stem molded with floral sprays and square trumpet-shaped base with canted corners and molded ram's heads.
Gallery Label:
Though stylistically it appears to date to the early nineteenth-century, the only published parallel to this lamp is French or Belgian and dates to the late-nineteenth or early-twentieth century.
