Description:
Pair of colorless lead glass oil lamp with blown font and pressed base; bulb-shaped font cut with six cut flutes attached with three-bladed knop to hexagonal trumpet- shaped base; pewter collar and double wick holder for whale oil with inscription "BENSON'S PATENT DEC 1843".

Wick holder Z.471 was found with this lamp, but does not fit, and therefore cannot be original.
