Description: 
Olive drab wool Army General's double-breasted overcoat; 3 1/2" stand-up double collar with hook and eye at the throat, 4 horn buttons down each breast, "2" applied to top left shoulder (not original), 3-stripe chevron below elbow on left sleeve, each closed sleeve (no cuffs) has 2 strips of brown silk lacing around each wrist with 3 silver-colored 5-pointed stars between the stripes; 2 panels at the back of the bodice, with 2 straps at the waistline which fasten at the center to 2 horn buttons, split skirt; bodice lined with olive drab twill-weave linen, horizontal slit pocket at the right breast.
Gallery Label: 
This overcoat was worn by Major-General Robert Lee Bullard in France in 1917; the number "2" was added to the left sleeve after the 2nd Army was formed.
