Jacquard-patterned texile executed in black and cream; depicting eagle holding banner that reads "E PLURIBUS / UNUM"; "1876" inscribed below. Second register depicts vignette of factory; "1776" and "DESIGNED BY / H/ TOPHAM" inscribed in and around framing strapwork. Cartouche reads: PACIFIC MILLS, / LAWRENCE / MASS. /TREASURER, / J.W. EDMANDS / AGENT / JOHN FALLON./ SELLING AGENTS, / JAMES L. LITTLE & Co. BOSTON/ NY. & PHILA."
