Leather and cotton gauntlets; white buff leather with three brown cotton stripes in middle, and wavy tan cotton lacing between two brown lines at wrist.

According to accession records, these gauntlets were used by the donor while a member of the 7th Regiment, National Guard New York, from 1870 to 1877.
