Description:
Parasol with carved ivory tip, brown silk shade with floral border, whalebone ribs with ivory points, and collapsible, carved ivory shaft with sliding metal collar and L-shaped handle; three sections of lower shaft are screw-jointed, and two of these sections are detachable.
