Description:
Wrought silver parasol handle; cone-shaped handle with a long narrow neck; center of neck has an ovoid bulge; hammered surface with inscribed waved lines above and below the bulge; bottom of handle ingraved, "M.MacMartin./ 168 5th. Avenue" in gothic script; no makers' marks.
Gallery Label:
This parasol handle belonged to Malcom Mac Martin, the great-uncle of the donor.
