Parasol with carved coral ferrule, beige lace tatting over beige silk shade, collapsible ivory shaft with coral nubs and sliding ivory collar, and carved coral pommel.

According to the accession records, this parasol belonged to the donor's grandmother, Mrs. Robert Alexander Forsyth of Newburgh-on-the-Hudson.
