Description:
Rectangular grey wool patch, embroidered in center with rayon shield: inside shield at bottom is blue 7 inside yellow flaming bomb against grey background; at top is yellow italic lettering on left and lion at right, all against red background; below shield is blue banner edged with yellow, with yellow lettering inside.
Gallery Label:
This patch was worn by members of the rifle team of the 7th Regiment, New York National Guard. It was worn on the left sleeve of a fatigue jacket.
