Description: 
Navy blue wool double-breasted pea jacket with 4 1/4" double collar, 5 buttons down each side (not all buttons original) with vertical slit pockets next to bottom 2 buttons on each side, no cuffs on the sleeves; 2 panels on the back split at the bottom center; original buttons are black plastic, cast with fouled anchors; front pockets lined with tan corduroy, coat lined with black linen, horizontal slit pockets at the right breast and left hip.
Gallery Label: 
This pea jacket was worn by H. Maxson Holloway when he served as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy from 1943-1945. The Society also owns several other of Holloway's uniform articles.
