Description:
Circular gold plate pendant (mourning) with dark brown hair worked in a Turk's knot beneath beveled glass oculus surrounded with rinceau design on one side, inscription "CRF" surrounded with imbricated pattern on opposite side; loop finding of other metal at the top.
Gallery Label:
A note found with this mourning pendant, written to Hattie Rogers by her cousin Eunice Williams, states that the oculus contains a lock of Mrs. C. R. Francis's hair.
