Description:
Wood, iron, and brass percussion rifle; brass furniture with small oval escutchheon plate and engraved scrolls on trigger guard, tang of buttplate, and sideplate; engraved scrolls on lockplate, hammer, barrel, and barrel tang; inlaid stars on top, and left sides of buttstock and on forestock; inlaid eagle grasping cloth or blanket also on left side of buttstock; brass patchbox with engraved scrolls and inscription contains iron worm and tool; stamped mark on barrel and engraved number on tang; steel ramrod with brass trumpet head; brass middle and forward barrel bands.
