Peter Van Pelt Coppuck, the son of James Coppuck (d. 1825) and Elizabeth (Knight) Coppuck (d. 1848), was a well-known businessman in Mount Holly, New Jersey. His portrait was a gift to the Society from his great-great-grandson.
