Description:
Bronze struck medal with obverse showing ship front with oval shield bearing flower, inscribed: "THE MAYFLOWER"; legend around border: "THE PILGRIM.FATHERS./1620/300.JARIGE.HERDENKING/1920." Reverse depicts Dutch-style building facade with dates below "1609/1625"; surrounding legend: "JAN.PESYNSHOF/THE.SPOT.WHERE.JOHN.ROBINSON.LIVED.TAUGHT.AND.DIED." Medal is inset into pink round cardboard box with red silk velvet interior.
