Description:
This lapel button features Outcault's Yellow Kid, the first comic strip, with a goat; his gown is printed with the words "Say, Dat Goat Tinks Me Is Me Fadder Cause Im a Yaller Kid". On the reverse it advertises "High Admiral Cigarettes/ Riley-Klotz M'f'g. Co./ Newark, N.J." and lists patent dates of 1894 and 1896. Small blue number 7 indicates a series.
