Description:
This lapel button features Outcault's Yellow Kid, the first comic strip, holding a huge beer mug; his gown reads "Gee I Wouldn't Drink Many Like Dis". On the reverse it advertises "High Admiral Cigarettes/ Riley-Klotz M'f'g. Co./ Newark, N.J." and lists patent dates of 1894 and 1896. A small blue number 1 indicates a series.
