Description:
This lapel button features Outcault's Yellow Kid, the first comic strip, with a Christmas stocking; his gown reads "I Had To Borrer Dat Sock From Liz" and a sign reads "Deer Santie Klaws/ If Its Too Big Put It On De Floor". On the reverse it advertises "High Admiral Cigarette and N Y Journal Yellow Kid". Small blue number 16 indicates a series. Two of two indentical, see 2002.1.1335.
