Gallery Label:
John Foster Dulles served as a U.S. Senator for New York in the late 1920s, taking over for Robert F. Wagner who had to step down due to illness. Dulles ran for re-election and lost, but was chosen for the United States Secretary of State during the Dwight D. Eisenhower administration.
