On September 11, 2001 the twin towers of the World Trade Center were destroyed by a terrorist attack. This button was distrubuted by the Municipal Arts Society shotly after the event. Founded over a century ago, MAS has long been the leader of advocacy efforts to preserve the best of New York City's past and promote excellence in urban design.
