Wrought silver pitcher; globular body with broad gadrooning around the lower half; applied, flat shoulder with an applied scrolled band around the edge and a convex band below; shoulder raised into an incurved neck with a wide, extended pouring lip and flaring shield-back rim; rim is low on the sides and high at the back and front; applied beaded band around the outside of the rim; hollow cast, double scroll handle; body seated on a stepped circular foot with applied bands of scrolled hearts around the footring and the body joint; engraved on the front center, "L B M S/ to/ M S" in script; maker's mark stamped on the base.
