Description:
A white pitcher with six paneled sides and a ruffled top edge with pouring spout. It has an applied transfer in monochrome black of a scene of a small room with benches and a beamed ceiling and five women in nineteenth century dress sitting and standing around a round table doing needlework and reading under a handing oil lantern with the Caption "Ladies Cabin". Probably from a passenger steam ship.
