Description:
Molded pearlware circular plate with hand painted border decoration of a vine with red berries, a brown stem, and green leaves; at the center is a black transfer printed bust of Pike surrounded by a cannon and cannon balls, flags, a drum, and a trumpet.
Gallery Label:
This plate is transfer-printed with a portrait of American army officer and explorer Zebulon Pike (1779-1813).
