Description:
Molded pearlware plate with the letters of the alphabet inscribed around the brim in low relief; at center is a black transfer printed image of a woman seated in a chair clasping her daughter by the arm and looking into her eyes; colors have been hand painted over the glaze to highlight center elements; chair is brown, mother's dress purple, and two green leaves behind.
