A cream colored ceramic calendar plate for the year 1915 with a gold rim around a central scene of an young African American boy in a straw hat eating watermelon in front of the brown wood slats of a barn displaying the months. In gold near the bottom "Compliments of/ Leo M. Jacobs/ Lake Street's Greatest Store/ A Little More Quality/ For a Little Less Price./ St. Albans, VT."
