A cream colored ceramic plate with a border of raised letters of the alphabet around a central scene in monochrome gray-blue of a shabby man playing bag pipes in a village surrounded by children with the caption "The Poor Piper". It is encircled by the words "Renaud Preiur & Co. Importateurs Porcelaine Verrerie Faience et autre Objets en Metal/ Rue St. Paul Montreal".
